Honey Garlic Ribs Recipe

Treat yourself to a mouthwatering feast with these succulent honey garlic ribs. The perfect balance of sweetness and savory flavor makes this dish a crowd-pleaser at any gathering.

Ingredients:

  • 2 racks of pork ribs
  • 1 cup honey
  • ½ cup soy sauce
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon ground ginger
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Chopped green onions for garnish (optional)
  • Sesame seeds for garnish (optional)

Directions:

  1. Preheat your oven to 300°F (150°C). Line a baking sheet with aluminum foil or parchment paper for easy cleanup.
  2. In a small bowl, whisk together the honey, soy sauce, minced garlic, olive oil, ground ginger, salt, and pepper until well combined. This will be your marinade and glaze for the ribs.
  3. Place the racks of ribs on the prepared baking sheet. Use a basting brush to generously coat both sides of the ribs with the honey garlic marinade.
  4. Cover the ribs with aluminum foil and bake in the preheated oven for 2 to 2 ½ hours, or until the meat is tender and easily pulls away from the bones.
  5. Halfway through the cooking time, remove the foil and baste the ribs with the juices that have accumulated in the pan. This will help keep them moist and flavorful.
  6. Once the ribs are cooked through and tender, increase the oven temperature to 400°F (200°C). Brush the ribs with additional marinade and return them to the oven, uncovered, for 10-15 minutes or until the glaze is caramelized and sticky.
  7. Remove the ribs from the oven and let them rest for a few minutes before slicing them into individual servings. Garnish with chopped green onions and sesame seeds if desired.
  8. Serve the honey garlic ribs hot and enjoy the delicious blend of flavors with your family and friends!
