Treat yourself to a mouthwatering feast with these succulent honey garlic ribs. The perfect balance of sweetness and savory flavor makes this dish a crowd-pleaser at any gathering.
Ingredients:
- 2 racks of pork ribs
- 1 cup honey
- ½ cup soy sauce
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 teaspoon ground ginger
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Chopped green onions for garnish (optional)
- Sesame seeds for garnish (optional)
Directions:
- Preheat your oven to 300°F (150°C). Line a baking sheet with aluminum foil or parchment paper for easy cleanup.
- In a small bowl, whisk together the honey, soy sauce, minced garlic, olive oil, ground ginger, salt, and pepper until well combined. This will be your marinade and glaze for the ribs.
- Place the racks of ribs on the prepared baking sheet. Use a basting brush to generously coat both sides of the ribs with the honey garlic marinade.
- Cover the ribs with aluminum foil and bake in the preheated oven for 2 to 2 ½ hours, or until the meat is tender and easily pulls away from the bones.
- Halfway through the cooking time, remove the foil and baste the ribs with the juices that have accumulated in the pan. This will help keep them moist and flavorful.
- Once the ribs are cooked through and tender, increase the oven temperature to 400°F (200°C). Brush the ribs with additional marinade and return them to the oven, uncovered, for 10-15 minutes or until the glaze is caramelized and sticky.
- Remove the ribs from the oven and let them rest for a few minutes before slicing them into individual servings. Garnish with chopped green onions and sesame seeds if desired.
- Serve the honey garlic ribs hot and enjoy the delicious blend of flavors with your family and friends!
