  • 4 medium potatoes, thinly sliced
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 onion, thinly sliced
  • 1 bell pepper, thinly sliced
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon dried thyme
  • 1 teaspoon dried rosemary
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Chopped fresh parsley for garnish

  1. Preheat your grill to medium-high heat or oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. In a large bowl, combine the steak cubes, sliced potatoes, minced garlic, sliced onion, and sliced bell pepper.
  3. Drizzle olive oil over the mixture and sprinkle with dried thyme, dried rosemary, salt, and pepper. Toss everything together until evenly coated.
  4. Tear off four large pieces of heavy-duty aluminum foil, each about 12 inches (30cm) long.
  5. Divide the steak and potato mixture evenly among the foil pieces, placing it in the center of each piece.
  6. Fold the foil over the steak and potato mixture, sealing the edges tightly to form packets.
  7. Place the foil packets on the grill or in the oven and cook for 20-25 minutes, or until the steak is cooked to your desired doneness and the potatoes are tender.
  8. Carefully open the foil packets, being cautious of the hot steam.
  9. Sprinkle chopped fresh parsley over the garlic steak and potato foil packets before serving.
  10. Serve the foil packets directly from the foil for easy cleanup, or transfer the contents to plates if desired. Enjoy your delicious garlic steak and potato foil packets!
