Pineapple Cream Cheese Dessert Recipe

This delightful dessert is a perfect blend of sweet and tangy, and it’s surprisingly easy to make!

  • 8 ounces softened cream cheese
  • 8 ounces tub whipped topping, thawed
  • 1 (14-16 ounce) can crushed pineapple, drained
  • ¾ cup powdered sugar
  • ½ cup pineapple chunks
  • ½ cup shredded coconut (for topping)

  1. Prepare the crust (optional): In a bowl, combine graham cracker crumbs with sugar. Stir in melted butter until well combined. Press the mixture into the bottom of an 8×8 inch or 9×9 inch baking pan. If you prefer a no-bake crust, you can skip this step.
  2. Beat the cream cheese: In a large bowl, beat the softened cream cheese and powdered sugar until smooth and creamy.
  3. Incorporate the whipped topping: Gently fold the thawed whipped topping into the cream cheese mixture until just combined.
  4. Add the pineapple: Fold in the drained crushed pineapple. Be careful not to overmix.
  5. Assemble the dessert: Spread the pineapple cream cheese mixture over the prepared crust (or directly into the pan if using a no-bake crust). Top with pineapple chunks and sprinkle with shredded coconut.
  6. Chill and serve: Refrigerate the dessert for at least 4 hours, or overnight for best results. Enjoy!
