Italian Crescent Casserole Recipe

This casserole is a quick and easy weeknight meal that’s perfect for busy families. It’s packed with flavor from ground beef, marinara sauce, and melty cheese, all wrapped in a flaky crescent dough crust.

  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1/4 cup chopped onion
  • 1 cup marinara sauce
  • 1/2 cup sour cream
  • 1 (8-ounce) can crescent dough
  • 1 1/2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2 tablespoons butter, melted

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Grease a 9×13 inch baking dish.
  2. In a large skillet, cook the ground beef and onion over medium heat until the beef is browned and crumbly. Drain off any excess grease.
  3. Stir in the marinara sauce and heat through.
  4. In a medium bowl, combine the mozzarella cheese and sour cream.
  5. Spread the meat mixture evenly in the prepared baking dish.
  6. Top with the mozzarella cheese mixture.
  7. Unroll the crescent dough and separate into triangles. Arrange the triangles over the top of the casserole, slightly overlapping them.
  8. In a small bowl, combine the melted butter and Parmesan cheese. Brush the Parmesan mixture over the crescent dough.
  9. Bake for 15-20 minutes, or until the crescent dough is golden brown and the cheese is melted and bubbly.
  10. Let cool slightly before serving. Enjoy!
