Easy Bisquick Cinnamon Rolls Recipe

This recipe is a quick and easy way to make delicious homemade cinnamon rolls using Bisquick baking mix.

  • 2 ½ cups Bisquick baking mix
  • ⅔ cup milk
  • 2 tablespoons melted butter
  • 4 tablespoons white sugar
  • 2 teaspoons ground cinnamon
  • For the Glaze (Optional):
    • 1 cup powdered sugar
    • 2 tablespoons milk
    • ½ teaspoon vanilla extract

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and grease an 8×8 inch baking pan.
  2. In a large bowl, whisk together the Bisquick mix, 2 tablespoons of white sugar, and milk until a soft dough forms. Don’t overmix!
  3. On a lightly floured surface, knead the dough about 10 times.
  4. Roll out the dough into a 15×9 inch rectangle using a rolling pin dusted with flour.
  5. Brush the melted butter over the entire surface of the dough rectangle.
  6. In a small bowl, combine the remaining 2 tablespoons of white sugar and cinnamon. Sprinkle the cinnamon sugar mixture evenly over the buttered dough.
  7. Starting at the long end, roll the dough up tightly like a jelly roll. Pinch the seam closed to seal.
  8. Use a sharp knife to cut the dough roll into about 12 equal pieces.
  9. Place the rolls cut-side down in your prepared baking pan.
  10. Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until golden brown.
  11. While the rolls are baking, prepare the glaze (optional) by whisking together powdered sugar, milk, and vanilla extract in a small bowl until smooth.
  12. Let the rolls cool slightly before frosting with the glaze.
