Bacon Cheeseburger Meatloaf Recipe

This recipe combines the classic flavors of a cheeseburger with the comforting goodness of meatloaf.

  • 1 pound ground beef (chuck or a mixture of beef and pork)
  • 1/2 cup diced onion
  • 1/4 cup chopped fresh parsley (optional)
  • 1/4 cup ketchup
  • 2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 tablespoon brown sugar
  • 1 egg, beaten
  • 1/2 cup panko breadcrumbs
  • 1/4 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/4 cup crumbled cooked bacon
  • Salt and freshly ground black pepper to taste

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Lightly grease a loaf pan.
  2. In a large bowl, combine ground beef, onion, parsley (if using), ketchup, Worcestershire sauce, brown sugar, egg, panko breadcrumbs, cheddar cheese, and crumbled bacon. Season with salt and pepper to taste. Mix gently with your hands until just combined. Don’t overmix.
  3. Form the meatloaf mixture into a loaf shape and place it in the prepared loaf pan.
  4. Bake for 50-60 minutes, or until the internal temperature of the meatloaf reaches 160°F (71°C).
  5. Let the meatloaf rest for 10 minutes before slicing and serving.

  • For a cheesier meatloaf, add an additional 1/4 cup of shredded cheddar cheese to the meatloaf mixture.
  • If you don’t have panko breadcrumbs, you can use regular breadcrumbs or crushed crackers.
  • You can also top the meatloaf with ketchup, mustard, or your favorite burger toppings before baking for the last 10 minutes.
  • Serve with mashed potatoes, French fries, or your favorite side dishes.
